Perfect Learning Environment
We take special care to ensure that we provide an enabling environment for learning for all grades. We plan to continue renovations and the construction of new buildings in order to provide even more services to our children.
Sports
Bearing in mind that a healthy body is a healthy mind, we encourage all learners to participate in at least one or two sports. We compete as a school at both provincial and national levels. Rugby and Netball are very popular here amongst other sporting codes.
The Arts
In addition to traditional learning and sports, the school also has avid "artists". Choral Music, Poetry, Drama and Revue are all very popular at CBS!

Small Class Sizes
Our small class sizes mean that our teachers can spend more time assisting each learner and identifying challenges and areas of learning that might require more attention.
Balancing Work & Play
"All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"! The school therefore takes special care to ensure there is a healthy balance of solid academic work versus a fair number of extracurricular activities.

We are an English Medium School and also offer Sesotho and Afrikaans as First Additional options to choose from.
Mathematics and Science
We also have a Science Lab where all Science Experiments are practically
conducted for learners. Experiments undertaken in the lab are always a blast at

SPORTS VICTORIES
Our sports are as active as our academics. Soccer: we have learners playing for the Free State Central League. Athletics: We have learners who are South African Champions for 100M and 200M U/15. Rugby: We have learners playing in Ihqhawe, Rugby Free State Academy and Kiewiete Free State Team.
STAFF ACHIEVEMENTS
Our staff works extremely hard, this can be seen with our national results. We have teachers awarded by the province for attaining position 3 in the Free State, high matric results averages recognised by The Department of Basic Education: Free State Province.
POETRY
The school Poetry club has a few compiled books of original CBS learners written poetry. The Poetry club is recognised by the Department of Arts and Culture.
